Pakistan Drops to Fifth in Latest ICC ODI Rankings

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest One Day International (ODI) team rankings. Pakistan has slipped one position from fourth to fifth place with 3,465 points. This change comes after Sri Lanka overtook Pakistan in the updated standings.

Sri Lanka’s rise has been notable, securing fourth place with 4,009 points. This leap pushed Pakistan down to fifth. The shift highlights Sri Lanka’s improved performances in recent series and Pakistan’s struggle to maintain consistency.
South Africa sits in sixth position, while Afghanistan is placed seventh in the latest rankings. West Indies has moved up one spot to ninth, overtaking Bangladesh. This climb reflects the West Indies’ improved results in recent matches.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh has slipped to tenth place after losing a position. The latest ICC update shows how competitive the ODI format remains, with frequent changes in the rankings depending on series results and team form.
